1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using DocuSpending ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you may not use the Service.

2. Account Registration

You must provide a valid email address and create a secure password to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3. Service Description

DocuSpending provides AI-powered receipt scanning, data extraction, and spending analytics. We offer both Free and Pro plans with different usage limits as described on our pricing page.

4. Billing & Subscriptions

Pro plan subscriptions are billed via Stripe on a monthly or annual basis. You may cancel at any time; access continues through the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Overage packs are one-time purchases and are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: upload content that violates any law; attempt to reverse-engineer the Service; use automated tools to scrape or overload the Service; share your account credentials with others; or upload content you do not have the right to process.

6. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of all receipts and data you upload. DocuSpending retains ownership of the Service, its design, code, and branding. The AI-extracted data from your receipts belongs to you.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. DocuSpending is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. AI-extracted data may contain errors; you are responsible for verifying accuracy for tax or legal purposes.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. We will notify users of material changes via email.
